KRKA NATIONAL PARK IN CROATIA

Krka National Park is one of Croatia’s most famous national parks along with Plitvice Lakes. Await beautiful waterfall in a green environment, and of course swimming and sunbathing.

In recent years the number of travelers to Croatia has risen rapidly, and the country is now one of Europe’s hottest destinations. Krka National Park is one of many reasons for this, and every year over a million people are visiting the national park of Krka.

Krka National Park is located closer to the tourist resorts and unlike Plitvice; you are allowed to swim in the Krka river and the various waterfalls, including the most famous waterfall Skradinski Buk, which you can see in the picture above. The park also has an outlaid promenade walk with wooden planks and paths.

Krka is one of Croatia’s eight national parks and covers an area of 142 square meters throughout. In 1985 it got the status of a national park, and after that, the visitor has only increased in number. Besides waterfalls, lakes and swimming areas, the area is also home to a large number of animals and plants.
